Dunia Díaz didn't hold back! The Cuban influencer sparked conversations on social media again after responding candidly to those who criticize her for undergoing a new cosmetic surgery. Staying true to her direct style, the content creator made it clear that she loves looking good and has no intention of giving up on enhancements because of others' opinions.
In a video shared on her TikTok account on Thursday night, Dunia reacted ironically to those who ask her why she doesn't accept herself as she was brought into the world by God.
"Why don't you accept yourself as God brought you into the world?" she began, imitating one of the comments she receives. She then questioned that stance and reminded that the body changes over the years, especially after motherhood.
"God did not bring me this way. God brought me perfect and beautiful," the influencer stated, explaining that she is not willing to settle for certain physical changes if she has the option to alter them.
Dunia is very clear about how she wants to look. "You accept your wrinkles and your imperfections, with your age, great, I congratulate you. I don’t want to accept it; I don’t want to see myself destroyed my whole life," she stated, making it clear that she respects those who prefer to age without resorting to aesthetic procedures, but she hopes they will also respect her decisions.
However, one of the most striking statements came when she spoke about her fondness for beauty and aesthetic enhancements. “I am very vain and I love looking pretty, like a Barbie, beautiful, gorgeous,” she confessed before releasing a phrase that sums up her stance: “I want to be Barbie, mommy, I want to be plastic”.
The TikToker also rejected the idea that her decision to undergo surgery should be a cause for criticism and questioned those who are so focused on her appearance. "When I have the surgery, it doesn't affect you at all, my love. I truly don't understand why you keep living other people's lives," she expressed.
Moreover, she emphasized that she is the one who decides about her body and issued another response to those who disagree with aesthetic procedures: "Get surgery, get surgery, get surgery. It's that simple and straightforward—just get surgery."
Her statements come just a few days after the influencer reappeared on social media after undergoing a new cosmetic procedure. On October 20, Dunia shared a video showing her leaving a medical center after going back under the knife. Although she claimed to be feeling well, she mentioned that she had fainted after the procedure and indicated that she would reveal more about what she had done later on.
The post sparked comments from her followers, including criticisms for resorting to cosmetic surgery again, which the influencer has now chosen to address publicly.
This is not the first time Dunia has undergone an aesthetic transformation. In January of this year, she had a breast lift with implants and liposuction in Miami, approximately six months after giving birth to her twins.
Her recovery was also marked by challenging moments. In February, she shared images from her post-operative period in which she appeared fainted and being attended to by Walter, her then-partner, with whom she got married in an intimate ceremony held in Miami last June.
For now, Dunia keeps the details of her most recent procedure a mystery, but what she has made clear is that she does not intend to stop undergoing whatever enhancements she deems necessary to feel comfortable with her appearance, no matter how much criticism she receives.
