Double birthday celebration! The Cuban reggaeton artist Velito El Bufón celebrated another year of life on October 22, surrounded by his work team, who surprised him with a birthday cake. But the date held even more special significance for the artist, as he shares his birthday with one of the most important people in his life: his mother.
The celebration was captured in a video shared on Instagram by RepaNation TV, in which you can see how his friends and collaborators surprised him with a cake and a sparkler in the room where he was.
"Velito El Bufón began his birthday on a good note… surrounded by his work team, which has become more of a family than just a team," noted the Cuban entertainment outlet while sharing images of the celebration.
However, one of the most emotional moments of the day came from the singer himself, who took the opportunity to share some beautiful words for his mother, with whom he has the joy of sharing this very special date.
Through a post on her Instagram account, Velito shared several photographs from her childhood alongside her, accompanied by a message filled with affection and gratitude.
"Today is one of the most special days of my life, because not only am I celebrating my 24th birthday, but I am also celebrating the life of the woman who gave me mine: my mom," wrote the performer.
And he added a few words that reflect the love and admiration he feels for her: "Today I celebrate another year of life, of learning, of dreams and of battles, but above all, I celebrate having you, mom. Because before I became who I am, I was a part of you, and a part of all the good that is in me will always belong to you."
It is not the first time that the artist has shown a kind gesture towards his mother. Last June, Velito surprised her by taking her on a trip, fulfilling one of her dreams, an experience that he also shared with his followers.
The singer is also experiencing a good moment in his musical career. In June, he announced the renewal of his artistic representation contract for three years and recently released the single "Maniática". He has also collaborated with Dany Ome and Kevincito El 13 on the track "Cuidámela".
