Velito El Bufón (real name: Dariel Gutiérrez Pérez) announced on Instagram the renewal of his artistic representation contract for three more years, a moment he celebrated alongside his girlfriend Paula Martínez and his management team at an upscale restaurant.
The Cuban urban music singer shared images of the signing of the document titled "Representation and Artistic Management Contract" and accompanied the photos with an emotional message: "On a day like today, three years ago, my management and I began this journey with a suitcase full of dreams and not a peso in our pockets. Thanks to God, we have achieved things we never even imagined. We no longer see it as work; we are a family. Today we renew our contract for three more years, and now is the time to move forward with a more focused career and the vision to conquer the world... Surprises are coming, THE ERA OF MORBO."
The images show Velito alongside other members of his team holding the signed contracts, and a final photo in which the group celebrates with a toast.
Paula Martínez, who describes herself on social media as a cabin crew member, appears in the photos of the toast, making this renewal a significant step both professionally and personally for the artist.
The couple was first seen together in Spain in March 2026, and Velito officially announced the relationship on Instagram on April 13, 2026.
In May, the singer publicly introduced in Havana her as "my wife," solidifying a relationship that sparked controversy as it occurred weeks after his separation from Thalía, the mother of his two children, confirmed on February 20, 2026.
The renewal marks the formal beginning of this new phase, which Velito himself describes as a race "a bit more focused and with the vision of conquering the world."
The artist hinted that surprises are on the way, without revealing more details about the projects he is preparing for this new phase.
