The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) of the United States included three Cuban citizens on its “Worst of the Worst” list— the worst of the worst — a regular publication through which the Trump administration disseminates arrests of undocumented immigrants with serious criminal records.
The three Cubans are part of a group of 15 individuals who were detained over the weekend by agents of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in various states across the country, alongside people convicted of crimes and other offenses.
Alexander Perez-Gonzalez, identified as Cuban, was arrested in Tucson, Arizona. He has a record of convictions for assault, four charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, and property damage.

Rolando Torres-Vega, also Cuban, was arrested in Miami, Florida, with convictions for arson and burglary.
Miami-Dade county records reveal that 61-year-old Torres-Vega had been arrested at the end of September for driving with a suspended license and carrying a plate not assigned to the vehicle, with an active immigration hold since then.
The third Cuban is Andrey Aleman-Cordero, arrested in Hialeah, Florida, with a conviction for amphetamine trafficking.
According to court records published by Noticias Miami Dade, Aleman-Cordero, 47, entered a detention center in Florida on October 8 after violating the terms of his probation. In addition to the conviction for amphetamine trafficking, he faces additional charges for the sale, distribution, and possession of cocaine, amphetamines, and cannabis, as well as drug trafficking with weapons and maintaining a premises for the trafficking of substances. His immigration detention is pending bail determination, while the probation order is non-bailable.
The Secretary of Homeland Security, Markwayne Mullin, signed the official statement and declared that ICE agents worked "tirelessly" over the weekend. "While Americans enjoyed their weekend, the brave patriots of ICE were working around the clock to arrest and deport illegal immigrants from our communities, including murderers," he stated.
The campaign "Worst of the Worst" is part of the "Defend the Homeland" program, launched by DHS in July 2025 with the aim of publicizing arrests of undocumented immigrants with criminal backgrounds and recruiting new agents for ICE.
Since the beginning of 2026, several Cubans have appeared on these lists for crimes ranging from homicide to sexual offenses against minors, drug trafficking, and violent crimes. In August, ICE included another Cuban for a sexual offense against a minor, and last week a Cuban was identified among the most serious cases of immigrants arrested in Iowa.
