The Chacal did not hold back! The Cuban reggaeton artist once again raised his voice against the dictatorship in Cuba during a concert, where he delivered strong words aimed at the regime in Havana and ended with a direct insult to Miguel Díaz-Canel, provoking a reaction from the audience.
In a video shared this Tuesday on TikTok, the artist, whose real name is Ramón Lavado Martínez, is seen addressing the attendees while several Cuban flags waved among the audience.
In the midst of his speech, El Chacal asked those who felt free to raise their hands and took the opportunity to reflect on the challenges faced by Cubans, especially when it comes to traveling and building a future outside the island.
The singer shared that he had recently been talking with some Dominican friends in Santo Domingo, who spoke quite naturally about traveling between the Dominican Republic, New York, and Miami. A reality that, as he explained, is very different from what many Cubans experience.
“ I had to sit down with them and tell them: Cubans, or rather most of my fellow compatriots, cannot think this way,” the artist recounted before delivering one of the most powerful statements of his speech: “It’s not that we are not good. It’s that we are under a dictatorship.”
Without mincing words, El Chacal also lashed out at the Cuban leaders, whom he accused of enjoying privileges while the population faces enormous challenges in obtaining food and meeting their basic needs.
However, his speech was not solely aimed at the regime. The speaker wanted to dedicate a few words of recognition to the Cubans who have chosen to emigrate in search of freedom, better opportunities, and a future for their families.
"Congratulations to all my fellow countrymen who set out in search of freedom, congratulations to all my fellow countrymen who leave wanting to put a meal on their family's table, congratulations to all my fellow countrymen who want to give the best future to their children," he expressed to those in attendance.
The moment of highest tension came when the reggaeton artist mentioned Miguel Díaz-Canel three times and concluded his remarks with an insult directed at the Cuban leader, provoking a strong reaction from the audience.
It is not the first time that El Chacal has taken a stage to openly express his rejection of the Cuban regime. In mid-October, during a concert in Alicante, Spain, he brought out a Cuban flag and lashed out at Díaz-Canel, whom he criticized for asking citizens for creativity while they face an increasingly difficult economic situation.
In July 2025, the singer became emotional to the point of tears during a performance in Zaragoza, where he called for freedom for Cuba while holding a flag with the messages "SOS Cuba" and "Patria y Vida."
His desire to see a free Cuba has also been evident during important moments in his personal life. In February 2026, when he celebrated his 40th birthday in Miami, he stated that his greatest birthday wish was precisely for the freedom of his country.
With these new statements, El Chacal once again made his position clear regarding the Cuban government and his support for those who have had to leave the island in search of a better life.
