The Cuban singer Bebeshito posted a reel on Instagram this Tuesday, in which he is seen exploring a town along the historic Route 66 in the southwestern United States, the same landscape that inspired Pixar to create Radiator Springs, the fictional setting of the movie Cars.

In the video shared on his Instagram account, Oniel includes lines from the dubbing of the movie while walking through the location: "You're in Radiator Springs, the prettiest little town in Carburetor County / God, awesome / Well if you think it's awesome, you should see the rest of the town."

The caption summarized it in few words: "Fulfilling the big dreams of a child."

The section in the southwest coincides with the corridor of Route 66 in Arizona, an area that Pixar used as the main reference to design Radiator Springs. The fictional town of Cars—where racing car Lightning McQueen gets stranded and reevaluates his priorities—was built by combining elements from various real locations, with Seligman, Arizona, being the most direct inspiration: a town that declined when Interstate 40 diverted traffic away from the old highway.

The reaction from his followers, many of whom are Cuban, was immediate and filled with nostalgia. The reel garnered thousands of likes and dozens of comments within a few hours.

The responses blended childlike excitement with the melancholy of distance. "They wouldn't understand, brother. It really moved me. That's childhood, bro. We're getting old," wrote one of his followers.

Others joined in with phrases like "Thank you for showing me what my childhood dream looks like," "Fulfilling the dreams of many," and "We are still kids."

The visit is part of a road trip that Bebeshito and his wife Rachel Arderi undertook to celebrate their third wedding anniversary. The couple set off from Miami by car and traveled for approximately 34 hours over the course of three days, passing through Texas, Utah, and Arizona.

Among the stops on the route are Amarillo, Texas, and the Amangiri resort in Utah, where Rachel shared stunning images. The couple also documented their visit to Lake Powell, on the border between Arizona and Utah.
