The Cuban influencer Cinthya Medrano García, known as La Cintumbare, has surprised her followers with an unexpected announcement: she claims that she has decided to leave drugs behind and start a new chapter in her life, this time running a food business in Cuba.

Through a video posted on Instagram, the controversial content creator showcased her new venture and shared her desires to change direction.

"My people, I decided to completely stop using drugs. I don't want to do drugs anymore; I want to redeem myself. I know I have tremendous potential, and I want to make the most of it," he expressed before the camera.

Her new project involves a food stand where she offers pork sandwiches, juices, and grilled meat. In the images, she is seen cleaning the space, managing the business, and showcasing the meat on the grill. Her father and her loyal dog Leona also appear, whom she jokingly introduces as the "head of security."

With her characteristic effortless style, La Cintumbare named the establishment "my store of little bands without tumbles" and encouraged her followers to come by and try her products.

"I'll be here making bread with roast pig, juice, food. I don't want any more drugs, I don't want any more bad life. Now I want a better path," he assured.

The influencer explained that the most important people in her life are behind this decision: "For my son, for my family, for my followers." Furthermore, she acknowledged that she needs the support of those who follow her on social media to move the project forward.

"I will only rely on your support," he stated.

The announcement comes after several challenging months for La Cintumbare, who has publicly shared episodes related to her substance use. In September, she raised concerns by defending the use of crack, known in Cuba as "piedra", and even asked her followers for money to buy it.

His posts provoked numerous reactions, including that of the Cuban reggaeton artist Ja Rulay, who publicly urged him to seek help and warned about the potential consequences of drug use.

Concern grew when her family reported that they were unaware of her whereabouts for about two days. Later, the influencer reappeared on TikTok and explained that she had sold her Instagram account to pay off a debt.

Shortly after, she showcased the difficult conditions she was living in, in a practically empty room, and announced a new song with the support of Venezuelan influencer Cazorla, who also assisted her with some appliances.

This new venture comes just one day after La Cintumbare drew attention again on social media with a video in which he dedicated a song to President Donald Trump, whom he blamed for his deportation to Cuba.

Now, the influencer claims that she wants to focus on her business and leave behind the issues that have marked her recent months.

"Come and support me, bread with roasted pork. Here we are grilling the meat," she stated while showing her food stall, hoping that her followers would join her in this new phase.
