Yoan Manuel Moncada Olivera is a Cuban baseball player who plays as a second and third baseman in the Major Leagues, currently for the Chicago White Sox. He was born on May 27, 1995, in Cienfuegos. He bats left and right, throws right, and stands 188 cm tall, weighing 102 kg.

Just two National Series were enough for him to demonstrate his extraordinary skills in each of the fundamental aspects of the game. Thus, after leaving Cuba in 2014, he joined the Red Sox two years later, where he was rated as one of the best baseball prospects.

However, in Boston he had few opportunities, and when he joined the White Sox, he gradually found the space he needed to fully showcase his talent with the bat, the glove, his legs, and his arm.

Today, many experts consider him one of the most well-rounded players in MLB, with the potential to contend for the MVP award. His 2019 slash line of (.315/.367/.548) speaks for itself.
