Yoan Manuel Moncada Olivera is a Cuban baseball player who plays as a second and third baseman in the Professional League, where he is with the Chicago White Sox. He was born on May 27, 1995, in Cienfuegos. He is a switch hitter, throws with his right hand, and stands 188 cm tall and weighs 102 kg.

It took him only two National Series to showcase his extraordinary skills in each of the fundamental aspects of the game. Thus, after leaving Cuba in 2014, he joined the Red Sox two years later, where he was recognized as one of the top prospects in baseball.

However, in Boston he had few opportunities, and upon moving to the White Sox, he gradually found the space he needed to fully showcase his talent with the bat, the glove, his legs, and his arm.

Today, many experts consider him one of the most complete players in MLB, with the potential to contend for the MVP award. His 2019 slash line of (.315/.367/.548) speaks for itself.
