Yoan Manuel Moncada Olivera is a Cuban baseball player who plays as a second and third baseman in the Professional League, where he is a member of the Chicago White Sox. He was born on May 27, 1995, in Cienfuegos. He bats left-handed, throws right-handed, stands 188 cm tall, and weighs 102 kg.

Just two National Series were enough for him to showcase his extraordinary skills in each of the fundamental elements of the game. Thus, after leaving Cuba in 2014, he joined the Red Sox two years later, where he was labeled as one of the best prospects in baseball.

However, in Boston he had few opportunities, and upon moving to the White Sox, he gradually found the space he needed to fully unleash his talent with the bat, the glove, his legs, and his arm.

Today, many experts rank him among the most complete players in MLB, with the potential to contend for the MVP award. His 2019 slash line of (.315/.367/.548) speaks for itself.
