Ingredients:
1/2 kilogram of okra.
5 tablespoons of butter.
1 onion.
2 cloves of garlic.
1 green pepper.
2 or 3 sprigs of chopped parsley.
5 tablespoons of tomato puree.
1/4 pound of ham.
1 chorizo.
1/4 can of spam. (you can replace it with mortadella or Chope)
1/4 pound (1/8 kilogram) pork.
1/2 chicken or 1/4 pound of fish or seafood dough, approximately.
1/2 cup of dry wine.
1 tablespoon of salt.
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper.
2 1/2 cups of water or broth.
1 lemon.
2 cups of rice.
1/2 teaspoon bijol, to taste.
Instructions:
You can use the whole okra or cut it into slices, remove the tip and the cap.
Pour the okra into the water or broth with lemon. Make the sauce with the fat, onion, garlic, pepper, parsley, tomato puree and ham or other type of meat indicated.
Add the dry wine, salt, and pepper, then add the okra without the water and sauté everything for 2 or 3 minutes.
Add the water or broth with the bijol and, when it starts to boil, add the washed rice, if necessary. Cover and cook over medium heat until the rice becomes soft.
