Cuba confirms 57 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total to 726

The other two cases are two Cuban women, 48 and 57 years old respectively. The first was in contact with other previously diagnosed infected people and 16 people with whom she had contact are being monitored. The second is a contact related to the event that occurred at the Calixto García Hospital, 92 contacts are under surveillance.

There are three other cases that live in the Diez de Octubre municipality. In this group is a Cuban, 30 years old, who was a contact related to the event that occurred at the Calixto García Hospital. 92 contacts are also monitored. The authorities did not specify if this case is related to the resident of Central Havana.

The other two cases are two Cuban women and both were in contact with other infected people. One is 25 years old and 14 contacts are being monitored, and the other is 55 years old and 58 contacts are being monitored.

Two of the new cases reside in Plaza de la Revolución. These are two females from the Island. One is 57 years old, who was in contact with another infected person and 58 contacts are being monitored. The other affected person is 47 years old and her source of infection is being investigated.

18 confirmed cases in Holguín

11 of the newly infected people reside in the municipality of Banes and all of them were in contact with other previously confirmed cases. In this group there are four Cuban women, among them there is an 11-year-old girl. The rest are 29, 52 and 66 years old. In the case of these four, 38 of their contacts are monitored.

Three Cubans also live in this municipality, one 40 and two 52 years old. All were in contact with other previously diagnosed infected people. 38 contacts are also being monitored.

In the other four cases there are two women from the Island, 32 and 78 years old respectively, and two men, 9 and 44 years old. In the case of each of them, 20 contacts are monitored.

Two more cases reside in Gibara. These are two men, 57 and 71 years old respectively. In the case of both, 16 contacts are monitored.

There are three more cases in the Holguín municipality. In two of them, 16 contacts are monitored and in the third, 44 are monitored. They are a 58-year-old woman from the largest of the Antilles, a 15-year-old Cuban teenager, and a 35-year-old man.

A Cuban woman, 75 years old, lives in Cacocum. 11 people with whom he was in contact are under surveillance.

Eight cases in Villa Clara

Regarding the province of Villa Clara, four of those infected are residents of Manicaragua, who were in contact with other infected people. There are two men, 27 and 33 years old respectively, and 13 contacts are being monitored in the case of both.

The other citizens of this town are a female, 82 years old, and a male, 30. The first had contact with another confirmed case and 17 contacts are being monitored. In the second, the source of infection is investigated and 10 people with whom he was in contact are kept under surveillance.

Two Cuban women live in Santo Domingo, who are also affected by COVID-19. One is 21 years old, of whom 15 contacts are monitored, and the other is 85, of whom 17 people are monitored. In both cases, the source of infection is investigated.

A 53-year-old woman who lives in Placetas is also infected. He was a contact of a previously confirmed case and 10 contacts are under surveillance.

The list is completed by a minor, 14 years old, who lives in Camajuaní. He was in contact with another previously diagnosed infected person and 22 contacts are being monitored.

Isle of Youth

Three cases in Santiago de Cuba and Guantánamo

In the municipality of Santiago de Cuba there are three new confirmed cases, two males and one female. One of the men is 49 years old., is urban transport worker and 36 contacts are monitored. He another is 44 years old, arrived in the country from Spain and 10 contacts are being monitored.

Patients reported in critical condition

Patients reported in serious condition
