Ana de Armas it looked like American show host Saturday Night Live this weekend, but without a doubt one of the funniest moments was the sketch Spanish Class in which he participated.
The protagonist of Blonde did her thing playing María, a Cuban girl who arrives new to a Spanish class in the United States with her brother Hugo, the Cuban-American comedian Marcello Hernández.
From the moment of the presentations, Professor Mikey Day knew that he would have a very difficult time during class because both of them in perfect Spanish, and certainly very quickly, said all their information.
“I am María Eugenia González Ramírez, we just moved here from Miami but we are from Cuba,” says Ana de Armas, immersed in her character.
After Hugo left the professor in a very bad light because he only understood a word of what he said about favorite food It was Ana's turn, although Mikey Day refused to give her the floor.
“My favorite food is a ropavieja with tamales with tostones, for dessert a cold duro, mamey shake also just in case, I also love the mamoncillos (…) they are so, so, so delicious”, all of this said at a speed astronomical for the teacher and other English-speaking students.
One of the funniest moments was when one of the students wanted to know how to say “I'm in love” in Spanish.
The teacher responds that “I'm in love” but Ana de Armas ruins his translation and clarifies that in her country that's not how they say it but “low hill and without brakes”, and in case there were any doubts she even repeats it in English so that everyone understand.
After the teacher gives up and supposedly goes to the bathroom, María and Hugo take charge of the class to teach Spanish to their classmates.
The best thing is that they invite their “cousin”, the Colombian Karol G and this begins at the beginning, the alphabet to the rhythm of music, and even Ana de Armas ends up twerking with her in the sketch in the purest Cuban style.
