Italian police arrested a 30-year-old Cuban citizen after he was found walking naked on a busy street in Italy.
The incident took place on Via Messina, located in the jurisdiction of the Borgo Ognina police station, in the city of Catania, the second most populated city in Sicily.
The passer-by drew attention for his inappropriate behavior in an area near a gym and a supermarket, where several passers-by were present, including minors.
The subject, whose identity has not been revealed, was caught red-handed by a police patrol. Despite orders to cover himself, the man showed resistance and refused to cooperate with the officers, who were forced to take him to the police station to proceed with his identification and the relevant procedures.
During verification at the police station, it was discovered that the individual lacks a valid residence permit. Additionally, it was found that the Quaestor of Catania had previously issued an expulsion order against the detainee.
The police have filed charges against the Cuban citizen for obscene acts in a public place, refusal to provide personal information and for failing to comply with the order to leave Italian territory, according to what was indicated.the local press.
At the end of March, three Cuban men were alsoarrested in Italy, accused of being involved in a series of thefts from supermarket customers.
Their main victims were older people. One of the robberies was in Passo Corese and precipitated the arrest of the trio in Anguillara, Rome, after they were captured by State Police in a parking lot.
