She relates that at the hospital she saw a young man passing by who was with her son's attacker and when she confronted him with a patrolman she learned that the accomplice had gone to the police to find out if there was a report filed.

Castillo states that when the officer asked the accomplice about the stabbing, he "laughed in his face and told the police officer:"Don't pretend that you know him, he's Jirbermen, the guy who works for you".

"The patrolman left without saying a word" about the aggressor, who would be an alleged collaborator of the regime authorities.

Complaint in Facebook

The mother states that she has not obtained information about the case and the man on the street as if nothing had happened.

This week the complaint of several Cubans who complained about the poor police performance in the case of a 24-year-old girl named Karildi Marín, missing in Havana since last December 14.

Although until now the complaints and demands for a better investigation came from the woman's family, this time several posts on Facebook show the discomfort that this case has generated in a large part of the population, which asks the authorities not to allow impunity in cases of violence.
