But the energy crisis has worsened and the fuel shortage does not allow the regime to resume its deceptive habit of not scheduling electricity cuts on designated days.
For this Mother's Day of 2024, the Electrical Union forecasts for peak hour an impact of 660 MW.
Saturday The service was affected due to a deficit in 24-hour generation capacity, and was not restored until 4:04 in the morning today. The maximum impact was 933 MW at 8:30.
This Sunday, the availability of the national electricity system at 7:00 am was 2430 MW and the demand was 2410 MW, with the entire system in service. According to him part, "actions are taken to reduce demand," and depending on the results, demand will be covered during daytime hours.
For peak hours, an availability of 2510 MW and a maximum demand of 3100 MW is expected, for a deficit of 590 MW, with an estimated impact of 660 MW.

This week, the UNE indicated that Blackouts will increase during the month of June due to the increase in maintenance work at several thermoelectric plants.
"As has been reported in these months from January to June, maintenance activities at thermal, energy and distributed generation plants increase with the purpose of reaching the months of greatest electricity consumption and demand, which are July and August, months in addition, the rest of the population," explained the entity.
The Union stated that it will comply with "the maintenance plan until the last days of June" in order to minimize the effects in the summer.
However, in July and August there will also be blackouts "if there are some unforeseen outages of generation units."
