The Cuban comedian Limay Blanco, who recently donated a rechargeable fan to a Cuban mother in need, has decided to expand this initiative to benefit more bedridden children and elderly people, so this Saturday he asked the Cuban community for help.
"We want to buy 100 rechargeable fans to donate them in the fields for babies and bedridden grandparents," the comedian stated on Facebook, highlighting that they already have 13 units.
"Help me with whatever you can to buy the fans," said Blanco on the social network Facebook, requesting the assistance of people who could support the initiative, a palliative so that some individuals could endure the blackouts at night.
Likewise, the comedian pointed out that, although it is not the solution to the problem of power outages in Cuba, he asked not to be criticized for his willingness to "try to patch up a crack."
Recently, Blanco shared a video in which he is seen handing out lollipops to Cuban children who, in a disciplined manner, wait their turn in a line formed outside his house.
"And don't make me wait in line anymore, I'm already on sick leave," Limay jokes in the emotional video that has touched the hearts of many on social media and has triggered reactions from his followers who applaud his new gesture, which adds to his many other acts of solidarity and commendable support for Cubans in need, for which he has been known for years."
