The Alamar community is facing a devastating tragedy after a fire destroyed a family's home, leaving them without any of their belongings.
The neighbors' solidarity has not been lacking, and many have started to organize to provide the necessary help to those affected.
The fire ravaged the dwelling located in the SP8 building in front of Máximo Gómez Elementary School, leaving its residents without a place to live and without their most basic possessions.
The Facebook user Oyasita Lien shared a message in the "Alamar" group to request urgent help.
On Sunday night, there was a fire in a house in Micro X, next to my place, which lost everything. I know how things are, but those with a heart and feelings help. Those who can give something they do not use, please," said Oyasita.
The affected individuals are elderly. They need “clothing, soap, bedding, all kinds of things because they were left with nothing,” stated Oyasita and left the contact phone number as 59673525.
The neighbors have responded to this call with an admirable sense of community, showing that in difficult times, help among Cubans can make a difference.
