Journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labrada reported on Facebook that witnesses at the scene stated that the most affected driver lay on the ground for about 10 minutes, appearing to be unconscious.
However, after some time, he began to move and was assisted by people nearby who lifted him and took him to a vehicle for his transfer to the hospital.
According to testimonies, the driver of the involved truck attempted to flee, but bystanders managed to prevent him from leaving the scene.
It was reported that the car belongs to the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) and is assigned to the unit in Antilla, although it is currently being used at the Moncada Cement factory.
