The Cuban Postal Business Group warned about the circulation of SMS messages with suspicious links sent from foreign numbers, which aim to deceive users or gain access to their personal information.

According to the official newspaper Granma, the warning was published by the entity on its official Facebook page, where it urged its customers not to open or share the links, and reminded them that it does not use this method to communicate with users.

Any message of this nature, he indicated, should be considered potentially fraudulent.

Cuba Post emphasized that the only official source of information regarding its services and operations is its institutional website (www.correos.cu), which features the section "You can comment to us" to receive inquiries and feedback from users with online responses.

In addition, the company reminded that individuals with Android phones can download the APK app from Correos de Cuba directly from its website, as a secure way to carry out operations or check the status of shipments.

The Organizational Communication Management of the group reiterated the importance of staying informed through official channels and protecting personal data against possible impersonation or digital scam attempts.

This is not the first time that Correos de Cuba has warned about this type of fraud. In 2024, the business group alerted its customers to an attempted scam through an SMS that leads to a fake website asking for payment details related to a shipment.

The false message that should raise the alarm is as follows: "Mail: Your package has arrived at the warehouse, but it cannot be delivered due to incomplete address. Please update your shipping information to facilitate delivery. The re-shipping costs will be your responsibility. Click the following link to make changes: https://correoii.cc/i
