Use:
Boniatillo is a typical Cuban recipe. It is cooked both in our fields and in the cities. It is a delicious and low-cost dessert, very feasible for the economy of Cuban homes. Enjoy it, it tastes delicious. Also try cooking it with coconut candy!!
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs. sweet potato
- 2lb. White sugar
- 2 cups of water
- 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
- 1 bunch of cinnamon
- Cinnamon powder
Instructions:
Cook the sweet potatoes in water with the cinnamon stick. Let them soften very well. Drain and make a thick puree. You can add little by little water from cooking the sweet potato itself.
Put everything back on the heat in a saucepan and beat in a zigzag pattern until it is so thick that it separates from the walls of the cauldron. Stir it so it doesn't stick.
Pour it in portions onto a plate with sugar on the bottom so it doesn't stick and sprinkle with cinnamon.
