Norge Luis Ruiz andLuis Miguel Romero They will be present in spring training with the Oakland Athletics. Both arrive as part of the guests outside the roster of 40 and in Ruiz's case this will be his second consecutive attendance.
Among other players who stand out and will seek a position with the big team are prospect A.J. Puk and the sensational recovered quarterback Kyler Murray.
It will be more than difficult for both Antilleans to make the roster, however, this will serve as a push for them to start the 2019 season in the minors with extra motivation.
Ruiz was batted between Double-A and Triple-A in 2018. Combining performance at both levels, he pitched 6-10, 4.89 ERA.
On the other hand, Romero from Guantanamo was one of the best relievers at the advanced Class-A level with 1-2, 1.84 and 13 saves, but he could not exhibit the same dominance in Double-A.
