This Friday, Luis Robles' entourage published a video thatthe young man, declared a political prisoner, He recorded on December 1, 2020, three days before going out to demonstrate on San Rafael Boulevard calling for the end of repression and the freedom of Denis Solís. By then, he was convinced that "here (in Cuba), if you speak out, even if you are right, they will save your life."

The video of a live broadcast that is now being broadcast includes the political argument of Robles who already knew that the communists "want to rule even what we think," he says in reference to a previous arrest he suffered for demonstrating in the Plaza de la Revolución.

From that occasion he keeps a warning letter that was given to him for demanding through a protest what he tried to demand by writing unsuccessfully to the Prosecutor's Office and the Cuban courts. On that occasion, a State Security officer allegedly spared his life, claiming that he did so because he had no criminal record.

Before being imprisoned after his peaceful protest on December 4, 2020, Robles had already assumed the value of freedom. "They will never stop us from dreaming about freedom. A human being without freedom is nothing," he added.

"I have a concern about everything that is currently happening on social networks. Many young people like me do not agree with what is happening here in Cuba and we sincerely want a change. A change of system, a change of country because really "Communism has turned this country into a true hell where it is practically impossible to breathe not only air but to breathe peace," he said.

In the opinion of Luis Robles, the Cuban communist system "is a destroyer of people and souls."

"In this dictatorship we are not human beings because we do not have any rights. We do not have the right to express ourselves freely. We do not have the right to be heard. When we say what we think, everywhere the police beat you up. This is the reality that we live. ordinary Cubans," he summarized.

After his peaceful protest, RoblesHe was first accused of terrorism and contempt; after a crimeagainst State Security andfinally of enemy propaganda and resistance.
