Lino Tomasen, the young Cuban known as "The iron Man", won a bet of $50,000 pesos after performing one of his incredible numbers: opening a coconut with his elbows in less than two minutes.

He explained in a post on his Facebook page, where he has 37,000 followers, that two admirers challenged him and went from Cienfuegos to his home in that same Cuban province to see him perform the peculiar demonstration.

"If so, I would earn 50,000 pesos, and they would go and challenge me at my house to see if it was true and they came from Cienfuegos specifically for that," he explained.

He states that to match the bet he proposed to his challengers "if one of them with a machete and the other with a hammer managed to break the coconut first than me, they would win my 100 thousand pesos watch," he stated.

He promised to upload an unedited video on Saturday so people who follow him can see the demo.

Some Internet users joked with the influencer and claimed that he had selected the driest coconut, but others admired his strength and claimed to have witnessedseveral demonstrations of his incredible strength since Tomasen was a student at the Manuel Fajardo School of Physical Education and Sports (EPEF) in Cienfuegos.

In 2018, the young man made headlines after a video shared from the social network YouTube in which he attacked a solid, thick wall in Havana, first using his fists and finally using his elbows.

Moments before, he had resorted to a more common act: hitting his forearms and even his knuckles 100 times, using a 5-pound tangerine. Later, he performed another of his most “common” demonstrations, when he cracked a coconut with his fists.

In 2022 he visitedthe National Boxing School Holvein Quesada, on the outskirts of Havana, to demonstrate his physical power by hitting himself with a five-pound iron spear before members of the national boxing team.
