Residents in the Cuban province of Camagüey warned of the increase in the theft of electric motorcycles in that territory, a situation that according to frequent complaints is also reported in other areas of the island.
"Be very CAREFUL with unscrupulous beings who, instead of doing good for society, are dedicating themselves to assaulting people in Motorinas," warned a post in the Facebook group ACCIDENTS BUSES & TRUCKS, for more experience and fewer victims.
Internet user Dory Pérez affirms that for assaults "the time doesn't even matter anymore, it doesn't matter at dawn when it's barely dark."
Likewise, it indicates that in the section of the Ring Road at the exit of the Amalia Simoni Hospital Guard Corps in that town the assailants are riding a Cocobeo engine.
He also calls on the Camagüey Police: "It is now impossible to travel safely through these stretches," he stressed.
"That's the case throughout Cuba... we have to be tough on crime in our country, which is getting worse every day...", commented another member of the Facebook group.
"Not even here in Havana, I live in a residential area and at 2:00 pm a neighbor was assaulted while turning to take away the motorcycle"said another.
Some responded to a Cuban who asked: "What are the Police doing?
