As a result of the investigations to find the whereabouts of the goods, they managed to capture the thieves.

In a public event held this Monday, the police returned the stolen televisions to the center.

"Thanks to the excellent work carried out by the Minint, the workers of the center and the community factors, the offenders of the act were arrested and today, July 10, the stolen media is officially handed over with the presence of the authorities of the Party and the Government in the territory, the Head of the Zanja Unit and the community, only one week after the events," said the government website.

The successive thefts that are in the news these days in Cuba also do not give rest to the students of the schools from which the televisions they need to attend classes have been stolen on more than one occasion.

In it“Julio Hidalgo Díaz” center, in the Diez de Octubre municipality, children and teachers were victims of the theft of the hybrid television from a second grade primary school classroom.

The School management called the police and reported the incident. A day later the agents found the whereabouts of the thief and recovered the television.

As is usually the case in these cases to make visible the actions of the police in the face of successive criticism for their poor work, the electronic equipment was returned at an official event where the children had to go to “express with words, smiles and looks, their gratitude” to the police for doing their job.
