Young man suffers accident during police chase on a motorcycle in Santiago de Cuba

The victim's mother claims that a police officer knocked him off his motorcycle and then hit him. The regime blames the young man for the incident, as he was allegedly driving drunk and without a license.


A 21-year-old young man identified as Eliseo Ferrer Varona was injured in a traffic accident supposedly caused by a "horse" during a police chase on the Mar Verde highway in Santiago de Cuba.

The incident occurred last Friday and according to Yilian Varona Lopez, the victim's mother, it was caused "on the curve of the refinery because a wheelie kicked him and knocked him off the engine and hit and kicked him."

The woman asks for help from the people who witnessed the accident to send her videos and any evidence that confirms police abuse, and shows images of her son in the hospital with large bruises all over his body and face.

The young man's brother, Elías Ferrer, also showed images of the accident and said that the police officer even pulled out a gun at him to force him to stop.

For its part, the official version of events states that the traffic accident occurred when a police officer ordered Ferrer Varona to stop the motorcycle, because he had three people in the vehicle and he was drunk. The young man would have refused to stop, according to this account.

In addition, the four people involved, the motorized PNR agent and the three citizens who were traveling on the MZ motorcycle, suffered injuries, said the official profile of Alma Lucena Infante García on the social network.
