The Cuban artistic community has gone out of its way to send messages of encouragement and wishes for recovery to Eduardo Antonio, after the surgery he underwent.

The hosts Carlos Otero and Monico Pino, the actress Beatriz Valdés, the comedian Andy Vázquez,The Pichi Boys, the actors Alexis Valdés,Tony Cortes o lthe singer Albita, have been some of those who have sent prayers and good vibes to Divo through their Instagram accounts.

“I just found out that Eduardo Antonio is recovering. My dear... very soon we will take a photo again like this one we took a few days ago. Receive my tight hug, El Divo de Placetas, sending you all the blessings and healing light for your speedy recovery,”said Beatriz Valdes, along with a photo with the singer.

Andy Vázquez, for his part,He asked for everyone's prayers for Divo's recovery.

“Let us all pray for Eduardo Antonio, my friend the Divo of Placetas has undergone emergency surgery due to an intestinal perforation and is in a hospital in stable condition. God take him out of this sad moment, let's pray," he asked.

Alexis Valdés highlighted that Eduardo Antonio is “an authentic guy. A madman like me. Or even crazier than me. But a brave, risky guy, who lives life with less fear than me.”

This Sunday, Roy García, the husband of El Divo de Placetas, said that Eduardo Antonio is “more stable and “with all his vital signs fine” after the surgery he underwent.

“He is recovering from emergency diverticulitis surgery that was performed through minimal access, but everything went well, thank God,” reads the statement published on the artist's networks.

García said he will update on El Divo's recovery and thanked “all the good energy and concern.”

Eduardo Antonio would have sufferedan intestinal perforation caused by the ingestion of prescribed medications after the facial surgery he underwent in recent days.

Apparently, the artist's diverticulitis worsened, leading to an intestinal obstruction. Due to this, he had to undergo emergency surgery to suture an intestinal perforation caused by the post-operative complication.

The Divo of Placetas is recovering at the Jackson Hospital in Kendall, where he was admitted urgently in serious condition. The artist underwent surgery to cut part of his intestine.

In recent days, the singer announced on his social networks that he would undergo cosmetic surgery to look younger. He asked his followers not to worry, that he was only going to “take off a few years.”
