The Cuban regime asks15 years in prison for the political prisonerJorge Luis Boada Valdés, to write"Díaz-Canel singao" on walls of Havana.

Boada Valdés has been behind bars for a year and a half in the Valle Grande prison, for writing a poster against the Cuban president in the Lawton municipality.

The Prosecutor's Office demands a sentence of15 years of deprivation of liberty, claiming that the young man not only expressed his discontent againstMiguel Diaz-Canel, but also incited protest in the streets through social networks.

Thetrial date not confirmed, the family of the political prisoner hopes that the oral hearing will be held next month, according to what was indicatedCuban Diary.

The relatives are desperate because the government does not give them enough information about the case and they consider that the sentence proposed by the Prosecutor's Office is disproportionate.

The Cuban government accuses Boada Valdés ofenemy propaganda crime, which had a maximum penalty of ten years according to the old Penal Code.

However, there is controversy surrounding the crime in question, since it does not appear as such in thecurrent Cuban Penal Code.

Boada Valdés has experienced adverse detention conditions, including torture and mistreatment during his stay in Villa Marista, the headquarters of State Security.
