ThePlaza de Cibeles and its surroundings in Madrid were the scene of the gathering of hundreds of dissatisfied Spaniards under the slogan “Not in my name: neither amnesty, nor self-determination”, with which they denounced the amnesty pact established by the leader of the Spanish Socialist Workers Party (PSOE).Pedro Sanchez with the Catalan independentists of Junts and ERC, tobe ratified at the head of the Government of that country.

Around noon Spanish capital time was the start of the demonstration called by dozens of civil society groups, they report.press media of that Iberian country.

At the scene, attendees shouted slogans against the recently re-elected Prime Minister, calling for "Pedro Sánchez to prison", "He is not a president, he is a criminal" O "Sánchez, traitor and liar".

Leaders of opposition groups were also present, such asAlberto Núñez Feijóo, from the Popular Party (PP); the leader of Vox,Santiago Abascal; Isabel Diaz Ayuso, president of the Community of Madrid, and the capital's mayor,José Luis Rodríguez Almeida.

Feijóo himself asked Sánchez to take a look at everything that is happening, and to prevent walls that limit coexistence. "Do not stress society, let's return to common sense, the Constitution, the division of powers and respect for judicial independence", said.

For its part, Abascal requested a meeting with the president of the PP to "coordinate the institutional response" to the "coup" of the socialists, which is consummated with the amnesty law.

Precisely, Vox followers continued their march towards the PSOE headquarters, on Ferraz Street, to continue their claims and pressure on the leader of the Spanish government.

Sánchez was inaugurated on November 16, with 179 votes in favor and 171 against, in the Congress of Deputies as President of the Government after achieving the support of seven political parties.A day later he was sworn in before King Felipe VI..

In his account he obtained the support ofSumar, PNV, Bildu, Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya (ERC), Junts, Bloque Nacionalista Galego (BNG) and Coalición Canaria.

The investiture ceremony came after almost four months of intense negotiations that culminated in an amnesty pact with the Catalan independentists last week, which generated several protests and a climate of social division regarding the measure, which has reached a climax with the concentrations this Saturday.
