A man of Cuban origin, identified as Pedro "N", stabbed his stepfather in Mexico during an intense argument, leaving him seriously injured.
He Today Newspaper from Nuevo León said on Facebook that the victim, identified as Yuniesqui, is torn between life and death in a hospital in the Allende municipality, where both have resided for five months.
The events occurred after a heated dispute between the aggressor and his stepfather, which became critical when Pedro "N" took a knife, inflicting serious injuries on Yuniesqui, the media outlet details.
The elements of the Ministry of Public Security mobilized to the scene of the events after an emergency call to the 911 system.
There they detained the aggressor, who is now in police custody and faces charges for the injuries caused to his stepfather, whose nationality has not been revealed but apparently is also Cuban.
The information does not specify whether these are migrants passing through who would be waiting for their CBP One appointments on the northern border of Mexico, which take several months; or if both are residents in the country.
Nuevo León is a Mexican state near the United States border.
