Fried rice in 5 minutes: The perfect recipe to take advantage of everything

This is a very popular recipe in Cuba. It is a dish of Asian origin and is ideal for taking advantage of all foods.

Havanadice, collaborator ofCyberCuba, shared a deliciousFried Rice recipe, with chicken and shrimp, which you can make in five minutes and take advantage of that white rice you had left over from yesterday.

It is a dish of Asian origin. The Chinese introduced it to the island and it is very popular in Cuba. It is ideal to share with family or friends, accompanied by a refreshing drink.

The chef ofHavanadice recommends that the ingredients to make theFried Rice recipe They are previously cut, because the preparation is very fast and an accelerated pace must be followed, taking care of the intensity of the fire.

First, the chicken cubes are cooked over high heat. Reserve the shrimp, which must be washed and peeled, and add to the pan. Cooking is very short, two to three minutes, otherwise they will shrink and dry out.

Then the scrambled egg is made, and once ready, it is set aside along with the other ingredients.

Clean the pan well and add oil, onion, chives, peppers and garlic. Let them cook until the onion is translucent. Then add the vegetables.

When everything is ready, add the cooked, shelled rice. It can be from the day before or at least four hours before.

Freshly made white rice should not be used in this recipe, because the grain cooks too much and acquires a consistency that is not desired, not suitable for this dish.

Finally, add the chicken, shrimp and scrambled eggs. Mix the ingredients well and add a touch of soy sauce and Chinese beans (bean sprouts) if you have them, because they give a delicious crunchy touch. Decorate with finely chopped chives.

Remember that throughout the preparation the heat remains high. It is a very quick, delicious and easy recipe to make, but you must have all the ingredients ready before starting and follow each step.

Order is key in Chinese cuisine, at least in that which is already part of Cuba's gastronomic heritage.
