Impressive Chevrolet Impala from the 50s involved in multiple accident on Havana's Malecón

A spectacular multiple accident occurred this Friday afternoon in theHavana Malecon left three vehicles damaged, including an imposingChevrolet Impala from the 50s of those that still circulate in Cuba.

“Right now in San Lázaro and Malecón, a driver who was drunk (he was coming down Belascoain Street) had hypoglycemia and destroyed every vehicle that came in front,” indicated a user on social networks.

Published in the Facebook group 'Buses & Truck Accidents', the Internet user's post shared a video with images of the event recorded in the moment after the accident, in which a large concentration of people is seen at the scene.

“Two injured: the driver and a girl who was inside a car. I stay cold with the drivers on the street. In addition to the irresponsibility, the little humanity there is. "I didn't want to stop any car to take those people," said the Internet user.

In another publication from the same group, photographs and videos taken at the scene of the events, which occurred in front of the Hermanos Almejeiras hospital in the Cuban capital, were shared. Judging by the images, the Chevrolet Impala is a two-door sedan (coupe) model from 1959.

“Damn, that Impala was always parked there!” observed one user. “I passed by that traffic light this afternoon and there was no light. And no one from transit either,” said another.

“Damn, that Impala is beautiful and is always there, without messing with anyone! As a mother, to pay, when it's for you, forget about it,” observed a third.

The other two vehicles involved in the multiple accident also suffered damage to their bodywork. Apparently, one of them was another Chevrolet model from the 1950s (known in Cuba as "almonds"), which the driver who fainted was allegedly driving, and a relatively modern car.

At the time of writing this note, the causes of the accident and the condition of the people involved in it are unknown. The authorities and official media have not reported on the event.
