The deceased was identified asDavid Pileta and was a collector for the electric company, according to information that emerged in apublication on the social network Facebook.

The collision between both vehicles occurred at the confluence of Oriente and Prado streets, according to the post by user Alberto José Turro Sevila in the group “Bus & Truck Accidents for more experience and fewer victims!”, where the motorcycle can be seen under the chassis. from the truck.

Turro assured thatThe motorbike driver ran the “Stop” sign and died instantly. Likewise, he asked the drivers for “a lot of caution.”

In one of the comments, a young woman reported the name and occupation of the deceased and stated that he was “an excellent person.” Others who knew him agreed with the opinion and also mourned his death.

Some Guantanamo residents recognized that the intersection where the unfortunate incident occurred is “quite dangerous” and, for this reason, “you have to be extremely careful and attentive” when crossing it, since many do so without respecting the “Stop” sign and at excessive speed.

Regarding thefatal accident, several users warned about thelack of knowledge of traffic laws on the part of the majority of motorcycle drivers, and they even assured thatmany drive without having a driving license or have obtained one illegally,

For this reason, they urged that the Traffic Police be more demanding in the supervision of the drivers of these vehicles.

In other traffic events that occurred in the last week in the country, injured people have been reported.
