A Cuban, resident in the United States, left a message on social networks for migrants who have recently arrived in the country, inviting them to fight for what they want to achieve.
The woman explained that she feels outraged every time she hears recently arrived Cubans complaining about their situation, avoiding work until they have official permits and questioning family support.
"Hey, fight your thing. You have to see that. Why did you come here? You are not a champion? You didn't leave Cuba? Look for it! Fight it! What are you complaining about? Here, bad as well, they give you Food Stamps, the State gives you a little help, in the churches they give you food... That has never been seen in Cuba!" said the lady.
He suggested to the newly arrived Cubans who complained the possibility of returning to the island to live under the regime. "Go with Miguel Diaz-Canel. Leave for where Díaz-Canel is," he recommended.
The name of this Cuban has not emerged on social networks. His message was replicated by the youtuber Yoslier Santiago (Yoslin), on Instagram.
Discussions of Cuban families in the United States
The woman detailed another very important issue in her message. He referred to family role that receives the migrant and how its dynamics change when there is a new member who arrives from Cuba.
"Everyone likes to be independent. Those who arrive do not want to understand that everyone has their space, their life and their things coordinated. There are also those who have been here for many years and have not created anything and want the families to carry them. Gentleman... you have to see that!" he commented.
This is a very delicate topic in the Cuban community. Many relatives who have received migrants in recent times and assure that Cubans arrive very confused, demanding, accustomed to having everything resolved for them and with continuous complaints that end up affecting the family unit.
Not all cases are like this, but it is a recurring situation that can be seen on social networks, which is why this Cuban's message has had such a significant reach in a short time after being published.
