The blackouts continue in Cuba and the Generation capacity deficit worsens every day after the May Day events.

He Thursday the service was affected for 20 hours, from 6:15 am to 2:02 am this Friday.

The maximum impact was 798 MW at 8:30 pm, exceeding the forecast by more than 200 of the experts from the Electrical Union, who fell short in predicting a maximum impact of 595 MW.

This Friday the Power outages began at 6:18 a.m.. At 7:00 am the availability of the electroenergy system was 2080 MW and the demand was 2150 MW, with a prediction of maximum impact of 400 MW during daylight hours.

According to him part from the ONE, At least 710 MW will be missing during peak hours since there are six thermoelectric units out of service: two due to breakdowns and four in maintenance.

In addition, 39 distributed generation plants are not operating due to lack of fuel and there are limitations in thermal generation in the order of 462 MW.

Several Internet users ironically said in the post that the increase in blackouts is a gift for the workers who paraded on May Day.

"That's right, take your encouragement!" said one self-employed person.

"The parade of work passes has already passed, I mean, of the workers!" said a manzanillero.

"Come on, come on, come on, we reached the 1000 MW deficit in a few days, that is the goal that the UNE has for the people," said a man from Pinar del Río.

"That's the attitude! By July 26, I'm sure we'll reach 2,000! Let's go for more!" said another man ironically.
