Three municipalities in the west of the Cuban capital will suffer water cuts next Friday, May 10 for 12 hours, during the hours between 6:00 am and 6:00 p:m.
The Aguas de la Habana Company reported that due to maintenance work and repairs on the conductors and power lines that feed the Ariguanabo supply source, the service will be interrupted.
Users residing in the municipalities of Playa, La Lisa and Marianao.
According to the note published in Facebook, there will be a lack of water in the following areas and distributions:
Municipality of La Lisa: repartos Balcón Arimao, Alturas de la Lisa, Versalles, La Coronela, San Agustín Novoa, Arroyo Arenas, Valle Grande, El Morado, La Concepción, XX Aniversario and Torrens.
Municipality of Playa: Barbosa, Siboney, Atabey, Los Rusos and Flores departments.
Marianao Municipality: part of the Zamora neighborhood, the area surrounding Ave. 25.
According to the information, the work to be carried out accounts for a total of five drinking water leaks within the well field located in the province of Artemisa.
Through those holes they are getting lost and stopping incorporating more than 120 liters per second into the system.
The company assures that once the works are completed, the service will gradually be restored to its normal schedules.
