It's a 2012 Rolls-Royce Ghost that costs between $350,000 and $400,000. His incorporation is part of a new strategy to attract officers to join the Police.

The Miami Beach Police released this week the world's first Rolls-Royce patrol car.

"We are delighted to present this impressive addition to the MBPD recruiting team," the city Police Department announced on its social networks, with a video in which the luxurious car is seen with all the insignia on the body.

It's about a 2012 Rolls-Royce Ghost that costs between $350,000 and $400,000.

The car was presented Thursday with all the equipment, including lights and sirens, by Miami Beach Police Chief Wayne Jones, who explained that the new addition is part of an innovative strategy to attract candidates to join the force.

"This is top of the line. This is the best you can get when it comes to vehicles. The Police Department is the best there is in the country," he said.

"It represents our commitment to innovation and our dedication to recruiting the brightest and best individuals to serve our community," he stressed.

The vehicle will not be used for regular police duties, such as incident response or patrolling, but will primarily be used for events and promotional activities to spark interest in a police career.

The use of a Rolls-Royce by law enforcement is possible thanks to a partnership between the Police and the Braman Motors dealership, which provided it and assumed the costs, without having to resort to the money of Miami Beach taxpayers. .

As he told America TeVe Christophe Bess, Public Information Officer, traditional recruitment methods are no longer sufficient, and innovation and creativity are needed to attract a broader and more diverse audience, with candidates who embody the values of integrity, service and excellence.
