The Cuban girl's family Amanda Lemus He sent from Spain a beautiful message of gratitude to the people of Cuba, especially to the mothers.
"Life is the first thing to save. A mother is clear," says the message sent in this "Nana for Amanda."
The video was recorded in the Madrid hospital where the little girl recovers positively of an organ transplant.
The complicated operation could be achieved thanks to the support of the Spanish health center that accepted her case, and also to the collaboration of Cubans who showed solidarity to save the girl's life, when the Public Health System of the island had left his case unsolved.
Amanda's parents did not give up, with the support of activists such as Yamilka Lafita (Lara Crofs) they managed to draw attention to her case on social networks and received help outside of Cuba.
The task has not been easy, but Amanda is a tireless fighter and little by little she is showing signs of improvement.
The recovery process after the transplant is not without complications. The family must remain in Spain for an indefinite period, without work, and in this sense they have also received a great support of the Cuban community abroad, with donations of resources to get ahead.
There are mothers in Cuba who are going through very delicate situations with the health of their children, in a country where hospitals lack the essential resources to perform complex surgeries, or treat diseases such as cancer.
These are compelling reasons why Amanda's family came together to make such an emotional message of gratitude and congratulations to Cuban mothers, on and off the island, for being true warriors.
