Andy Vázquez apologizes to Ulises Toirac and makes a radical announcement: "It's over".

"I did not do it with bad intentions," excused the comedian.

Andy Vázquez admitted to being deeply affected by the general opinion created on social media towards him after offering his house to Ulises Toirac in case he decided to emigrate to the United States.

In a video published early on Saturday, Andy Vázquez apologized to Ulises Toirac and reiterated in his own words the circumstances in which he had written the message of the offer, to which the humorist based in Cuba responded - although without mentioning names - with the term "posturing".

Andy Vázquez explained that he did not have his colleague's phone number, that he was in the midst of a busy day at home because they were putting up a fence, and that what was written in public was just a spontaneous demonstration of affection towards someone who once helped him by inviting him to the program "Do You Swear to Tell the Truth?".

Andy Vázquez's extensive explanation was made in a second Facebook post by Ulises Toirac, the humorist based in Havana, who concluded by saying: "You don't put a horn on advertising, but an arm."

"I did not do it with bad intention," Andy Vázquez apologized in writing and out loud, and his apologies were accepted by Ulises Toirac.

However, annoyed by those who claim that he is only seeking likes and promotion, Andy Vázquez announced that "it's over," and that he won't help anyone else.

"I understand that Ulises may have felt bad, that he may not have liked that I offered him my house and my help through social media, but this is as far as I go, do not call me anymore," said the comedian.

He detailed that the last public gesture of solidarity he plans to make will be towards Dayan Sotolongo, the young man suffering from elephantiasis, for whom he recently asked for help to buy a ticket that will allow him to travel to Spain for treatment.

It's over, this is where I draw the line. I don't do anything for likes, I didn't leave a comment for likes. Don't call me anymore to share cases of people in need of help," warned the comedian to his followers.

The catfish got the best of me in this case. I lost the battle [...] Starting today, all my pages will be about promotions and humor, although in humor, I will continue to take shots at the Cuban authorities,” concluded Andy Vázquez, who even got emotional to the point of tears when making the announcement.
