A central restaurant in Miami is robbed for the fifth time.

Luna, Pasta e Dolci is a restaurant on Biscayne Boulevard. It has everything as a culinary destination, but apparently it also whets the appetite of the criminals in the area. Check out this story.

The restaurant "Luna, Pasta e Dolci" in Miami was robbed for the fifth time in less than two months, and its owners have had to ask for help on social media to keep the business going.

A security camera at the store recorded the moment when a criminal threw stones at the windows on Thursday night in order to break into the store, open the cash register, and steal the money from the sales.

The thief didn't find a single dollar, but left the owners with significant expenses, and this is the fifth time they have experienced situations like this.

Chef Gabriel Medici, the restaurant owner, explained that there was nothing of value to take, so the alleged thief had to leave. It was all very quick, in less than a minute and a half.

"They are highly trained, young people. The police told me they had captured the previous burglar, so this is a new one. Everything sounds the same, it's like a pattern," a discouraged Medici told 7NewsMiami.

The chef said that in the first robbery, the assailant took between 150 and 200 dollars from the cash register. A week later, they returned and took another 150 dollars. Since then, the restaurant workers decided not to keep any more money in the cash register.

Luna, Pasta e Dolci was inaugurated in 2018. It is located on Biscayne Boulevard, at the intersection of Northeast 69th Street. It is in a nice area, but faces challenges of criminal activity, especially during the night.

In the robberies, the owners of this restaurant have lost two computer monitors ($1,000 each), an iPad, connectivity cables, and five glass windows, when each glass costs $1,500.

"It's total stress," said Medici, who is overwhelmed by the expenses involved in restoring his business as soon as possible.

"We are a family-owned company and recently expanded locations, which was a big investment for us with construction, money, larger staff, and many more expenses," they commented in the post where they shared the video and requested contributions from their followers through a GoFundMe account.

Mike Vega, spokesperson for the Miami Police, requested the community's cooperation in the apprehension of this sneaky thief. He also advised business owners to always empty cash registers and leave them open before closing to indicate that there is no money inside.

The restaurant Luna, Pasta e Dolci, is known for its excellent Italian cuisine, has been a beloved place by the community, offering traditional dishes with a modern twist in a cozy and family-friendly atmosphere.

It is a culinary experience that invites diners to enjoy the authentic flavors of Italy. Since its opening, Gabriel Medici has managed to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that complements the exquisite gastronomic offer perfectly.
