Long line in Homestead to buy Cuban sweets: "I'm going to create a bakery here"

Ena's Secret Bake is the business of a young Cuban established in Florida and is gradually expanding.

A parking lot in Homestead recently surprised by having a long line of Cuban sweet lovers.

Dessert enthusiasts gathered to buy cake, "marquesitas," and meringue, among other sweets, from Ena's Secret Bake's van. This popular business belongs to the young pastry chef Yandry Roque Pando, who is spreading his flavors to different cities in Florida.

Ena's Secret Bake is a family business. They created their first location in Hialeah, but gradually they have expanded to other cities.

Their sales of "birthday boxes" made them famous, including everything inside, from the snacks, the cake, to the croquette with meringue.

One of the things that characterizes this team of confectioners is that they work with top-quality products. All their sweets are fresh and made in an artisanal way. They have a tremendous homemade flavor, according to their customers.

Perhaps that is the key for so many fans to line up to buy Cuban sweets wherever the unique van arrives.
