They are looking for a man who exposed himself and tried to abduct a girl in Homestead.

Homestead authorities in Florida asked for the population's help to find a man who exposed his private parts and attempted to kidnap a girl.

The events took place on May 31, but the police investigation is ongoing, and the authorities have brought the case to light this Tuesday, to request support from the public.

It all began when a 10-year-old girl left her house to take out the trash. As she crossed the parking lot, a man got out of a car and started harassing her, showing her his genitals and trying to catch her.

The Homestead police officers responded to the distress call at the Phoenix Apartments, located at 1500 NE 8th Street.

The main suspect in this case is described as a black man, dark-skinned, with short hair, between 40 and 50 years old, approximately 1.75 to 1.78 meters tall, and weighing an estimated 68 to 79 kilograms.

The suspect was last seen driving a four-door sedan, in a cream or beige color, possibly an older model of Toyota, which had several items inside.

Homestead Police is requesting the community's collaboration to provide any information that may lead to the identification and location of this individual, who may be dangerous, especially to children.
