The former Cuban baseball player from Industriales Yunier Rosabal Ortiz arrived in the United States on Wednesday with his wife.

Yunier, a native of Guanabacoa, shared photos on his Facebook profile of his arrival in Miami and his first hours in the city, where he is seen happy with his partner and friends.

The young man thanked his mother, his wife, his brother, and friends for all their help and support. He did not specify how he was able to reach his current country of residence.

"Thanks to God for arriving today to this beautiful country to be able to move forward and stay focused on what we have in mind, progress and help our own. We love all those who have been part of the process and everyone in general who have been aware of us," he wrote.

Dozens of people commented on the post, wishing him success in his new life.

Rosabal played as a regular player with Los Leones during three national baseball series, from 2019 to 2022.

In his social media accounts, there are numerous posts from his time as a team member.

He was wearing number 18 on his jersey.
