A car belonging to a church in Sagua la Grande had a serious accident at noon on Monday, after crashing into a tree on the road leading to the town of Wilfredo Pagés, in the province of Villa Clara.
In the incident, where only minor injuries were reported for the occupants of the vehicle, there were indeed considerable damages to the car, which received a significant blow to its front section.
Photos shared by Facebook user Osdany Darias in the group "Accidentes Automovilísticos en Cuba" show how the hood was completely crushed after the collision.
In the comments section, several users agreed that the speed at which the driver was traveling, as well as the poor condition of the road, were factors related to the incident.
"That road is in very bad condition, you have to be a magician to be able to drive on it," wrote an internet user.
"From what I see, the driver was going hard because of the bump; if the road is bad, they should drive gently," noted another person.
Users are once again calling on drivers to be more careful on the roads due to the increase in accidents in recent weeks.
Precisely, last Sunday, a modern car crashed into a bridge on the road to Camajuaní, also in Villa Clara, leaving the driver with minor injuries.
In a photo shared in the post, one can see the strong impact received on the front of the car, which lost its bumper after the collision.
"Only one was coming and he only hit himself lightly, luckily," said a user in the comments section.
On the same day, four people lost their lives, including a minor, due to a traffic accident on the National Highway in the section that runs through the province of Villa Clara.
