The popular Cuban content creator @kurly_la_peque shared on TikTok her first experience trying coffee at Starbucks.
In her video, the 36-year-old woman living in Kentucky enthusiastically and humorously recounted the moment:
"Well, maybe you won't believe me, but it's difficult when you are poor and humble to come and pay $13 for a coffee, I mean... So, well, this is my first time having a Starbucks and I want you to join me and see my reaction to how a Starbucks is," she said before tasting the drink.
"Well, nothing is coffee, coffee for coffee. I make them at home just the same way and I think even better, because since they're free I like them more. So nothing, I liked it," he commented.
"Would I recommend them? Yes," he added before stating that if you compare a good coffee and make it yourself, the experience is the same "and you don't pay as much."
"So now you know, I'm giving you a saving tip in the United States," she said playfully as she closed her video that has inspired reactions from followers: "About two weeks ago, I tried Starbucks coffee for the first time, at 48 years old in Puerto Rico"; "You are beautiful"; "You are right"; "Hello, they are very good, enjoy it"; "Your hair is so pretty"; "You are super"; "Mom, it's just that coffee is the best in the morning, blessings to you."
These "first time" videos have become very common on social media, where they create a space for debate and sharing experiences and opinions; even more so when it comes to emigrants in other countries.
