Facundo takes Raúl Castro for a walk in Miami: "He thinks he is in the Soviet Union."

Facundo walks Raúl Castro around Miami while he believes he is in the USSR. The humorous sketch satirizes the nostalgia for socialism.

In a humorous sketch that has started to make waves on social media, Cuban actors Andy Vázquez, in his iconic character of Facundo Correcto, and Leonardo Santiesteban, portraying a clueless Raúl Castro, have created a situation that is as absurd as it is funny.

In the scene, Facundo takes Raúl for a stroll through the streets of Miami, while the dictator is convinced he is in the former Soviet Union.

With his usual satirical style, Vázquez brings to life a staunch communist who, despite being in the heart of the "exile capital," continues to defend the glories of socialism with an almost delirious fervor.

For his part, Santiesteban —who is known in Cuba for his character "Maraca" and now resides in Florida— shines as a completely lost Raúl Castro in time, believing that the skyscrapers and lights of Miami are part of the vanished USSR.

"He thinks he's in the Soviet Union. He doesn't hear well. Look who I have here. My general!" said Facundo.

The sketch is a sharp satire that highlights the disconnection between the Cuban regime and reality.

The video shows how nostalgia for a fallen system and the contradictions of Cuban socialism can become material for comedy.

Users have quickly taken to social media to leave comments celebrating the creativity and ingenuity of both comedians, who once again manage to elicit laughter while inviting reflection.
