A woman was arrested last Friday after being accused of deliberately hitting another woman, justifying her actions by saying that she took her boyfriend away from her.

The hit-and-run incident happened in May, but it wasn't until this date that the Miami Police located the woman.

The attacker was identified as Christal Azure Alexandre, and the events took place on a day celebrating the birthday of the victim's sister, where Christal's ex-boyfriend was present.

The arrest report indicates that in the early morning of May 6, the victim first saw Christal in a parking lot in Wynwood, standing next to her boyfriend's vehicle. The police said that the woman asked him if he knew who she was, and he replied, "It's my ex-girlfriend," Local 10 News reports.

Christal, 26 years old and a resident of Miami Gardens, began to follow the couple in their car after they left Wynwood, driving "erratically" and chasing them, the police reported.

In the area of Flagler Street and Northwest Eighth Avenue in Little Havana, the couple stopped and began a verbal argument, which later turned physical with Christal.

The report adds that Christal “accused her of stealing her man” and when the victim stepped away to call the police, “she hit her on the lip.”

It was at that moment that Christal returned to her vehicle, put it in reverse, and then ran over the victim's leg, threatening her with the phrase: "I'm going to kill you!".

Although the report was filed two days later, it was not until last Friday that the Miami police located Christal in a business park in Miami Lakes, where she was arrested.

This Monday, she was still being held without bail at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
