The Cuban Baseball Federation announced that it will conduct tryouts to select approximately 60 players who will participate in a showcase in front of foreign and national specialists, scheduled for September 28 and 29 at the Latinoamericano Stadium in Havana.

In a press release published on the digital site JIT, the sports organization detailed that it will conduct regional tests in Santiago de Cuba on the 5th and 6th of the upcoming month, and then in Villa Clara on the 11th and 12th.

The text also indicates that on the 11th, tryouts will be organized in the capital for athletes from that province, who will not be participating in the western tryouts scheduled for Matanzas on the 16th and 17th of September.

It also emphasizes that the idea is to bring together the most outstanding talents in the country, primarily from the under-18 and under-23 categories, without ruling out some from the under-15 or over-23 categories.

In September 2023, the National Commission also presented a total of 80 players to scouts from various professional leagues who showcased their skills in search of foreign contracts.
