A passenger truck and a Yutong bus collided early Saturday morning in Sancti Spíritus, with no injuries or fatalities reported.
The incident occurred on the Central Highway, between the community of El Majá and the municipality of Jatibonico.
According to a witness who is a member of the Facebook group "ACCIDENTES BUSES & CAMIONES por más experiencia y menos víctimas!", the bus was making the Havana-Manzanillo route.
"A small bump in the early morning during a crossing, only damages," he clarified.
The shared images show that the bus suffered damage to the rear, on the driver's side. The passengers had to get off the vehicle.
Several internet users commented that a possible cause of the collision is that the road has become very narrow and is in poor condition, and extra precautions need to be taken at intersections.
Others claimed that the drivers of the Yutong buses have a habit of driving down the center of the road, and when there is an intersection, they believe they have the right not to reduce their speed because they are carrying passengers.
