This is how dollars, euros, and MLC are quoted today in the Cuban informal market.

Average sale for this Saturday of dollars, euros, and MLC in Cuba

What is happening with currencies in Cuba? This is the question many are asking. However, the price of the three reference currencies on the island remains unchanged this Saturday, September 7.

Dollars, euros, and MLC remain stuck in the informal market at the price they reached weeks ago, according to the daily analysis by elToque.

The dollar remains priced at 320 CUP, the euro at 330, and the freely convertible currency (MLC) at 275.

The average selling values of currencies confirm an unprecedented stability that has characterized the last few weeks.

Exchange rate today 07/09/2024 - 07:22 a.m. in Cuba:

Exchange rate of the dollar USD to CUP according to elTOQUE: 320 CUP.

Exchange rate of the euro EUR to CUP according to elTOQUE: 330 CUP.

Exchange rate of MLC to CUP according to TOQUE: 275 CUP.

The U.S. dollar reached 320 CUP on August 3, and since then, monitoring of classified ads averaging its value in the black market has shown no signs of movement, according to the independent outlet elToque.

The European currency, for its part, reached 330 CUP on August 5 and has not changed its average selling value since then.

The last to register changes was the Freely Convertible Currency (MLC). However, since August 9, the virtual currency has been quoted at 275 CUP.

The price stability in recent weeks contrasts with the strong changes in the first seven months of 2024, during which currencies experienced fluctuating streaks of both increases and decreases.

The median of purchase and sale values published this Saturday by the mentioned independent outlet confirms that the landscape is one of absolute stagnation.
