Trump will not participate in another debate with Kamala Harris.

"There will be no third debate," he wrote. The magnate is dissatisfied because the polls showed Harris as the winner of last Tuesday's "duel."

Donald Trump, the Republican candidate for the upcoming presidential elections in the United States, announced that he will not participate in another presidential debate against Kamala Harris, after several polls showed that his Democratic rival won this week's "duel."

"There will be no third debate," posted the former president on the social network Truth Social, after facing off against President Joe Biden in June and against Harris last Tuesday.

"When a boxer loses a fight, the first thing they say is 'I want a rematch.'" That’s why, considering that he didn't lose in Philadelphia but rather had a "great night" and won, he doesn't need this new opportunity.

Additionally, he criticized the Democratic party. "Kamala should focus on what she should have done over the past four years," he wrote about Harris's mission instead of asking for a new debate.

Kamala Harris, at a rally shortly after Trump's announcement, remarked: "I think we owe it to the voters to have another debate."

Although Donald Trump highlighted his performance in the debate and declared himself the winner, it came to light that six Republican donors and three advisers from his campaign, who spoke with the Reuters agency, indicated that Harris had emerged victorious, largely because Trump failed to stay focused on the message.

Likewise, while Trump asserted that the polls left him as the winner, several surveys reflected the opposite. One from Reuters/Ipsos revealed that 53 percent of voters thought Harris won, while only 24 believed Trump was the winner.

In addition, the survey showed that 54% of registered voters believed that a single debate between both candidates was enough, while 46% preferred to see a second meeting.

Another flash poll from CNN revealed that most viewers believed Harris performed better, with 54 percent in her favor according to YouGov, while only 31% supported the magnate, according to the aforementioned agency.

Trump and Harris will represent their parties in the presidential elections on the upcoming November 5th.
